De broederlijcke Lieft eenheijt en Waere vreede
Mach niemant schaden, ja behaecht Godt selver mede
Want hij belooft ons te vergeven ons misdaet
Soo Wij ons even mensch vergeven. Laet ons haet
Wt roijen wt ons hert. en planten daer beminnen.
Eij! eyder wil voor sich, en van hemselfs beginnen.
Want die sijn naesten haet Doet tegen Godts ghebot
Die hier een vijant heeft, heeft niet een vrint by Godt. translation

La paix en vraye union fraternelle
Ne peut autruy, ne Dieu mesme offenser.
Dieu fait pardon, & sa promesse est telle,
A qui est prompt à pardon s'auancer,
Comme ceux-cy que voyez s'embrasser,
Ains qu'à la nuict le iour quitte son lieu.
Celuy qui plus laisse haine embrasser,
